Welcome to Goodman Quarter Horses Online!
The Bar Box Ranch is a working cattle ranch consisting of Forrest and Tim Goodman, along with their families and parents. Bar Box Ranch is located in South West Missouri.
Pictured is our Uncle Rex Goodman, holding the world champion race horse Clabber, in 1939 when he accompanied Abe Nichols from Arizona to Eagle Pass Texas to race against the King Ranch horses. Clabber won both races that day and Rex bet everything he had on him. With those winnings he purchased Jake, an own son of My Texas Dandy, and half brother to Clabber. Rex was an avid horseman and roper, who was killed shortly after this picture in World War II. But he passed his passion on to his younger brother Gerald, our father. We've been raising good horses ever since.
Each year the Goodman families produce quality foals available by private sale to the public.
Please take the tour and give us a call about any of our stock.
